Staff resources
While the resources listed below are specific to Knowledge Enterprise and Research Administration staff, these staff members are encouraged to first review the faculty tab to familiarize themselves with resources available to all ASU employees in the research space.
Knowledge Enterprise (KE) staff
Knowledge Enterprise drives discovery and innovation at Arizona State University. KE teams assist research endeavors across ASU and the planet, providing a variety of services and expertise to our ASU research community.
Research Academy
KE staff have access to the KE Employee Handbook and additional training material in the internal KEEP space. Additional sites and training may be required for KE departments or roles.
Research Advancement (RA) staff
Research Advancement staff work with ASU researchers (investigators) to identify funding opportunities, develop proposals, and/or manage sponsored funds.
RA staff have access to specialized resources in the Getting Your Start as an RA series. This series helps you settle into your role as a new member of our RA community and introduces the essentials of research administration at ASU. This series applies to any unit administrator or staff member responsible for assisting investigators with identifying funding opportunities, proposal development, and/or management of sponsored project funds. RAs include those with a Research Advancement job title, as well as some staff with other ASU job titles.
Additional training material may be required for specific departments or roles. Please partner with your supervisor to ensure you access all required training materials for your role.
- Research Advancement – Common work instructions, help tools, and system assistance.
- Research Administration training toolbox – Training resources for KE and Research Operations staff and RAs.
